Nostalgia !!!!!

100 memories, 200 jokes, 300 great times, 400 secrets, 1 reason.... BESTFRIENDS Yeah.......one reason to write this blog is to share memories with my friends at college.College is one of the important phase in one's life. It's a liberation from hard rules and regulation and all u need is to freak like Hell. Career and attitude towards life takes a good shape in this phase.U need to do two things at the same time.Plan a best career and enjoy your presence in this world. I think Iam lucky enjoy to have both ! Yes,I had best of freinds and a career focus.Thanks to god for blessing me with both. F*R*I*E*N*D*S ................

They are great people around who make feel youself and encourage you at every stage. I'am glad to share this blog full of memories that never fade away. Hmmm......... My first day in Easwari Engg college.I did'nt know where I was.I was completely lost as I knew no one.The school mates whom I know were in different dept.I was searching for some one with whom I can share a seat with.Hmmm....nobody.The function was over.I went down alone and saw the people around me.All were strangers . Atlast.........I felt a hand at my back.great !!! I saw divya and Sang ,my tution mates.I was happy (on top of the world) to have met some one.When they told me they are also in EEE dept

I was very happy.Actually I forgot Sang's name ( !!! memory washout 's sometimes ).And I told
her also. After lunch we all came to our class and sat together. It was nice to spend the time with them.Did I ever know that I would spend my life always knowing them when I met in tution class ?!!Thats life's destiny. So,it went on and the day was over. Next day,I saw a new face near Sang,Told her a 'hello' and asked for her name.Thats how kavi joined the team and we started off our life together at college., When u meet some people ,some would come to the end of life ,others will go away like the wind.

As days went by,we started r pranks at college.It was fun to do things sceretly and not toget caught. Our freshers party was ultimate.For this we went to divs grandma's house,got dressed[spl appearence].All the programs were good.It went on and on for 4 hrs.Treat for eyes and stomach. Our unforgetable incident of the year was our thiruthu visit to movie "Minnale"

How we went mad for seeing the movie. Kavi and I had already watched the movie.We went for the second time with divs and sang.We bunked the afternoon session .I think we went to AVM rajeshwari theatre.Amongst the crowd,we somehow managed to get ticket.The movie was good.But more than that,it was our first "Doggies Day Out !!!!!" by absconding from college. Kavi became an ardent fan of "Maddy".Almost all of us were dreaming of Madhavan!Even now,when the movie is palyed in TV,we make sure we watch the movie wherever we are ,call up and ask "Hey ,minnale paathiya !! ,Orey memories de !! "....

Its a wonderful thing to fill a blog.Its a recollection of all wonderful moments that is played across the mind like a movie. How mast it was.Though I need to travel for a long distance,it was fun to come by college bus.That is where I met Seetha.Her house was right behind mine.We never knew each other until college.It was through sang,I got to know her.Then,we became close.We used to talk a lot while coming by bus.We used to pester our driver anna to play songs.Seet and myself used to bring cassetes from home.What a fun. We used to play chris mom,child game,exchanging gifts. Seetha ,myself & kavi used to regularly visit the canteen before going home,eating hot samosas,coke etc.Sang and div dogs went home earlier.We used to catch place in our bus.We hardly sat in the last row.We always took up the first few seats.There will be decoration of buses for the new year,cakes distributed......fun it was. After bus drops us,we'll walk slowly talking,stop near the corner shop ** R favo place **,chat for another few minutes before we get diverted . It was a great pride to walk with that drafter and ED charts,"Look, am an engineer" !!

I also had a wonderful companion while travelling,Mr Sidney.I read all his books in those 4 years of travelling.After spending almost 9 hrs in college with my freinds,back home, we call up ,speak for minium of 30 mins.Our assignment writing is the ultimate one.. Each of us choose a topic,collect the notes,exchange them.Worst sometimes, we write it during class hours.keep it on our lap.

Every sem, we make sure we watch Maddys movie!! Watching "Run" was a great event!! No tickets,finally Sang managed to get one... We see the row,Gosh!! Row No 1!! Ahhh! Fun it was,that local guys dancing for the intro songs... All college gang!!Unforgettable.. Another one is our super-duper Pondy trip!!! God! It was the ultimate one... From 6.30 am till 8, we hardly closed our mouths...Chat,chat,chat!!Dance in the bus,pulling legs of a fellow driver.,..

It was supposed to be an industiral visit, but it turned out to be one freako day out !!Thats the time,kakka Kakka was relased... Surya was soo handsome.. We used to scream,seeing the posters on the walls... I would have listened to those songs a million times in that trip...:-))
Final year... we 5 headed to Besant Beach... It was March,2 pm in the afternoon..One can understand how the weather in Madras would be !! Crazy we were, playing in the beach for so long.. No sun,or heat can stop us !! Not a single human around!!We were there until 5 i guess.. then chatted for so long... And then departed the place.. In heart,we never felt we are diverging !!

All I have now are those wonderful,never-fading,beautiful memories...

Books And Its Stories

Books have become an important aspect of my life.As quoted 'A Room without books is a body without soul '.** No offence intended** This passion for reading is probably inherited from my parents I guess.For me,it just have to be a book,as long as I can read. I am so obssessed with them. I never lend my books to anyone --For the fear that it would never be in my hands --.
Be it my academic books or novels, I hate to lend it to someone and people get baffled.But so far,only few of them had had the guts to borrow books and had kindly returned them back to me. --But one person has taken away a Sidney's novel,and Iam still tracing where on earth the person is --. It may be wrong from my part,but i cant help it.They are worth rubies to me.I wouldnt mind getting them a book from my pocket,but defintely not the one I own.

Books are way to enhance your creativity,In a way like,I literally imagine the characters ,or the place described in it. Like when it says 'It was lush green valley..' Now I imagine how the lush green looks. I remember Oscar Wilde lines 'imagination is a quality given a man to compensate him for what he is not'!! haha.. So,in a way I have seen the Harward University and the pyramids of Egypt!

Some books should be tasted,some should be swallowed,some should be practised in life.I started off reading Sidney Sheldon books. Any woman would like his books as I do. All his books are woman oriented, the main story revolves around the life of the woman, her challenges and the victory over it. 'Tell me your dreams' is one ultimate book of his which kept my fingers crossed till the end. The story line is very intelligently written ,you gotta keep pace with it."If tomorrow comes" was too good.Keeps you on grib.

I have read other few books,nothing much impacted me. I liked one called 'Who Moved my cheese'. Simple concept of adpating yourself to a change in your life.The concept is told through the life of mice,thought provoking things ,but simple illustrations. And then,there was "The Alchemist".My,I have become a big fan of Paulo Coelho. The concept is amazing.

"Never give up,no matter what".We would have heard it many times, but the hard part is practising it! This book is about the self-discovery,following your dreams!!! Simple language but very enligthing .If any of you havent read it,I suggest you to read it,even if you dnt have the patience in life to read a book,sit up and read this one. It builds faith in youself, in GOD,in self-beleif.

Every line has a meaning,I literally marked every line of the book. One I liked is when he says "when you desire something,the whole world conspires in you achieving it."And also a quote taken from THE BIBLE, "Where is heart is,there is the treassure". The book is about everything - Believing yourself, Faith in GOD,quest for Love,rebuilds the essence of life .

"The Zeher" is another book from the same author,its deals with a different aspect of life, revolves around the human nature and feelings. One line from the book I often think upon is "Freedom is not the absence of committment ,but ability to choose a work and getting commited to do it".very true! I know some people,they say,getting committed is risky,I wanna enjoy life!Wnna be free" But truly, when there is no committment ,you dont get inspired and motivated.Challenges are what makes the life meaningful.I wonder how he is able to write such books ,it really touches your life, kinda your heart absorbs them..

RK Narayan is the one only Indian author,whose books I have read.Who can ever forget the Malgudi Days" and "Swami And Friends".. Very simple ,a situation you could see in your own life or of your neighbours.
Dan Brown,Nicolas Sparks were other authors I had read.I liked Jane Austen's "pride and prejuidce'.

On the lighter side, I am great fan of Archie Comics and in particular Jughead.. Ultimate Bindass character-hates retriction,not fond of gals,has a huge apetite **Esp HOTDOGS !! **

And apart from this, my habit of reading Tinkle, Wisdom still continues.
Its nice to read Suppandi Tales, Raja Hooja,Kalia the Crow!!! :-))... Fun to read now,though its meant for kids!

Recently read Erich Segal's "The Class" and "Love Story".The latter was the usual story about love and the tragedy .But I somehow felt,this shouldnt have happened to Jenny. Felt somewhat
depressing the day I read it.

Kodagu Dreams !! ~~ :-))

It was my long time desire to be in the one of the coolest spot in karnataka..Kodagu Or Coorg or as it is called as Orange Country!! from the time I shifted my place to Bangalore, I wanted to visit the place..Frakly speaking, I didnt know what the place has got, but I only know that it is one the serene place to be,and I love to be in solace..

So there we started,a family tour to the land of oranages ~!! on a good friday morning,the 11th of May.We reached a place called Kushal Nagar,before which we had our breakfast in Maddur.Kushal Nagar,is majorily inhibited by Tibetians..So you the feel that you have suddenly stepped in the different country!! :-)).. You get see the typical culture,the house designs of that like tibetians.. Almost every home has got this long rod to which is cloth is attached to almost more than half,like a flag.. But i didnt know why they do so..Nyways.. we went to see the Namdroling Monastry or the "Golden Temple".The place is wonderful with awesome and very intrinsic painting and scultpures.. The best part is you are allowed to photograph them.The paint colors are very vivid and bright...Mostly red.. I wish there was someone to tell what those paintings depict.Monks of the temple,some 4 yrs to 70+ ,stay in the same premises..
The whole is just a hour visit,but we took more as each of us got deeply awe-struck that we practically clicked every part of the paintings around!with little compulsion and confusion we left the monastry..Not literally though..There are few shops outside..So a lil shopping.U get to see and buy the big bells,there was a tibetian to explain us about the bells,why its kept and its fortunes etc..when i asked for the price,only then I realiazed I needed a fortune to obtain one!Gee.. but purchased some fortunes at my ability!!after a good lunch at a local hotel, we left to Nisargadhama..
Nisargadhama is like a little walk on the jungle with elephant safari and a boat ride on the river Cauvery.Its was to walk along the bamboo tress and a hanging bridge to cross over the river running below..U get to hear the sound like theetataaaa when theres a wind..Its the sound of the bamboo tress colliding each other when the wind blows.There are few swings around and a small sit-out like thing made of bamboo between the tress at a little level from the groud..Good place to relax.Actually ,its a romantic place to be there..Know its like, a river behind you,bamboo tress around with that tatetteee sound, ;-)),and a wooden sit out like between the tress... Definetly soothing..Then there was elephant safari ..It was trilling for me.Though a short round it was good to sit on the elephant that shakes your body..
Next we went to Dhubare.. Again a elephant camp.We can get to see the elephant feeding and bathing... You can also take a dip in the river.. After a shower in the waters we left to Sidhapur to meet our family friend.Uncle was a simple man who owns a coffee estates,orange estates.The home was awesome...My dream house standing before me!! Yup a good looking bungalow situated in the center of the coffee plantations.A pond in front of the house and lots of flowers and plants around...birds chripping from the silver oak trees.,hmm,what more you need other than your family around.!!After sipping tea, we all went to a unrevealed temple on the banks of the river Cauvery. The drive was adventurous..Jeep passing through the thick forests..There is absolutely no one human around,only us.It was almost dark when we reached there...The place is dead silence that you can hear the sound of the river flowing..It was just AWESOME...Out of the world I should say.. Wish we were here a little earlier so we could have enjoyed a lot more admiring this new world.
Way back we were to meet another friend.The drive was still more adventourous coz Uncle was telling of his experience with elephants ...Back home one late night on his scooter,he was face to face with a wild elephant.He could not revert nor go ahead..No human soul around too.. after a little while the elephant started to walk across the forest leaving way to Uncle.. Another incident was when he was driving,a snake happened to fall on his shoulders..After an hour,it crepped through his leg leaving him unhurt.
After hearing all this, me and shara looking each other and checking the jeep to check for some creepy creatures..!!We reached the Uncles place...My dream home II...
Back home,we had a good dinner and had a sound sleep.Early next morning,we got up to see the place and the view,the sunrise,the sounds of the birds calling..Mistly windows,dew on the flowers.... We went for a short walk...We refreshed and left to TalCauvery.I was completely disapponited when I saw that the pond where water sprouts,the origination of the cauvery river,is closed due to some construction work...The valley and the view around the hill was good.
After having lunch,we headed back to Madikeri.Since we reached lately,there weren't much places opened to visit.So we drove back to Bangalore..Guess I should make another trip to Kodagu..
On the whole,I had a good time visiting the new place and having good time with my family...

I had been to Madras for abput a week....I was myself over there...Playing loud music,sketching,fighting with moi sis,going around "Singara" madras...**Hehe**...

There I was in madras on a rainy,chilly saturday morning...Am gonna be with my ppl for 9 days..Come again...9 DAYS..Wooow...After a looong time,I am here for a vacation...{ Vacation to my own home !!!! SAD...**Sobs**...Hmm....} K...I reached pretty early and slept ...**Moi a great sleeper..Tired u see !!** My mom cooked my favo breakfast and lunch...It was lovely day ,very nice to see my place,,,raining and chilly....And the best thing I would like to do is to speed the fan,laz under my sheets and watch Tv..!! There is no better activity on a day like this...And I simply lowe this one...I went to pizza corner with dad and sisi...and went hunting for watch to citi center...I could'nt get anything better ...so jus like that got into lifestyle..and I came out at 9.45 pm with 3 kurtas and accessories...!! Pheww...Never expected to shop like this...I was sooo happy,actually when I wanna get smething,I dnt find good ones...I least expected i would shop like this... On sunday,had been to Spencers...Chennaiates crowded on a huge mall...There...Got the watch of my types....**** Dammal Dammal.....my wallet was loosing its weight !!! **** My sis gave me a stare...which meant "Dnt act off toooo much jus becaz u r earning..."


My sisi was down with fever and so the gal was good company for me at home for 4 days..Even in that fever she came out with me...I appreciate her tolerance with me. We visited citi center once again...had ghee roast and nan in VB...went around North Mada street...And ofcourse after all this I took her to the physician...:D ....My mornings are spent drawing,reading and ofcourse browsing..Evenings,I pull out my sis and go out...Saturday esp was a great day..we went to the besse beach.,..The drive from home to the palce was good..it was not-so-sunny types,bit cloudy ,breezy weather and a drive to that was AWESOME !! ... We sat on the pavement bench facing the sea...spoke of sooo many things..hehe **Wink** ,then walked on sands towards the sea...Went in the merry-go-round **I lowe this one*** had "manga" { i.e raw mango } and masala kadalai...Again sat on the beach..Chat..chat..chat...From there we went back home,purchased some stuff and back to Eden in Besant nagar...If there is one eating place I really love,its Eden...Its got everything and just activates my taste buds...Tasty and yummy food...I like baked bowl ,veg stuff paratha...and the pomogranate juice...**salivate....***

The next day...I left to bagalore at 1.00 am....With a book in my hand and a comfortable AC coach...I had the time of my life...I lowe to travel alone in trains..Just get a favo book,some music and a window seat..Man..its out-da world...aah....I enjoyed my travel...I had got "How opal got kissed,got wild and got a life"..**Well..the title would sound similar to my previous blog...hehe**
The book was good,funny and romantic....So the journey was on...little kids were running around the walk path ..I was enjoying see them play and reminded me of my childhood days...
There I reached blore at 8.....Slept ....Got up...Yet another day ..go to office,work assignments..SQL queries.....application testing...Ahhhhhhhhhh...................

Murudeswar....

Murudeswar was also a good place to be....There was a temple in construction-with the most intricate design,was really in awe. The view of the coast was really good.After spending some time in the temple and coast we drove to halt the night.We halted in a place called 'Batkal'.The place was just ok.Next day,we headed to kollur.On the way,we also had a chance to see the Maravante Beach,really this place is not to be missed.Awesome is not the word.You get see that river on one side of the road and the beach on the other. The first thing we sisi's did once we got out the car,is to pick shells !! hehhe..Lots n lots of shells,different colors and shapes,wat not.The sea was rough though,shara n I was soo enthusiatic that we went further,which proved to be dangeroues.Yea,I would have drowned,if not shara shara to hold me,We holded each other tight,so as not to slip.But,we did'nt that our mom was standing behind us n she slipped,thank God,she was okay.we took lots of pictures and taaru was njoing the waters. Later we headed towards to Kollur temple.It was drive in ghats,and was truly good.When we reached Kollur ,I was like 'Am I in Kerala !!??'.Yea,the place was like in kerala,mostly Malayalam n tamilians.I was just surprised,how the culture good change in just 50 Kms !.The temple was good though i never pray [[Am a beleiver of C H R I S T ]].We had lunch in Kollur.The best part was when Taaru got so adamant of holding the digi cam ,and a dog happen to chase,madam was running around with the camera and everybody's heart literally stopped as to what would happen to the camera ! And me,was laughing my heart out,I still can lividly see ,the way she leeped around with a smile of her face and the dog jumping behind her.Finally,bava came to resue,chased the dog,and the camera back from her !!.
So ,all the fun of travelling and site -seeing ended here.We had to get back to shimoga for prasad's reception.We reached shimoga at around 5 pm.We met all our cousins and relatives.Then we got dressed [me in sari...beatiful sari actually !!] and went to the mantap.We sisi's were with the groom,helping me out.Forgot to mention,i was his best friend !! hehe yea,I dressed him,some makeup n all...I was soooo happy to do this,i mean though we were cousins,he always saw me as his dear sister n moi too as my own bro !.had a good time pulling his legs.He was soo happy and excited,he was marrying his lady love. The marriage went on well ,the next day.Simple and elegant. Was soooo happy for him !! We came back in the evening,packed our stuff . We also went to the zoo near shimoga.The safari ride was the best.Got to see lions n tigers n dears so close..Then we went around the city ,roamed for awhile ,had dinner and left to the railway station. Our return journey was sooo good.Were discusiing of our tour ,should say this tour was truly remarkable and njoing.We reached bangalore ,next morning.All of us were sooo tired,just lazying around.

This is one of the best trips I had been. I never knew my place is so lovely and awesome !!!

Gats Tour

Its been long time since I blogged.... And yes,I have somethin to write now..I went on tour to N.Karnataka.. Its my bro's wedding in shimoga,and I gota chance to visit te beautiful places. I went to Jogggggggggg..........Hey wat an amzing falls Its been my long term plan to visit this beautiful n tall lady !And truly she is amzing and awesome...Lots n lots of water falling from great heights.. The weather was too awesome .Raining all the way.The drive was too good.Me n shara would peep our heads out and feel the rain on our faces.. It was a good journey,right from boarding the train in bangalore ,all the way in driving,the wedding and back to bangalore..We were so trilled,this was our first tour as a family,7 of us,including taarika..Thrilling it was.We chatted for a loong time in the train,while boarding to shimoga,pulling each others legs, making fun of co-passerger,commenting..taaru was soooo excited,she did even sleep ,rather joined us in the chat. We reached shimoga ,next day at 4.30 am..drove to our lodge.There also,we had fun...all of us [7] slept on a 3 bed..imagine...fun it was,..Then,we got ready to leave to Jog.We went in travera...Shara ,taaru & I were seated back...so had the most fun...Bava kept singing n commenting n vids n us would join him,even mom & dad.I should say the drive was the best part...It was green all over,grey clouds and the rain ...Beege beege raat,Oops,Din..It would rain for awhile and then clouds would clear and shine suddenly.I have no words to describe the beautiful scenary around and how much we enjoyed,wish I was Wordsworth !!We reached Jog close to afternoon.We had to wait in the car for an hour or so for the rain to stop.We just could'nt control our eargerness to watch the magnificent lady.With our umberalls and coats,we went to the main spot to see her.What a beauty..It was so good ,amzing,awesome..[ny other words in the dictionary..] to watch the waters fall from great heights.As I said,more beauty added as it was cloudy ,weather was soo good,So it all together added to the beauty.We took lotsa pictures.We spent so many hours watching and enjoing the scene.Nature,truly,is the REAL BEAUTY.One even forgets all troubles and worries seeing nature.!!! We spent 4 hrs there...Then we drove back to Honaward,had lunch,rather some snacks and headed to Murudesswar.It lies on the coast with a tallest statue of Lord Shiva...The drive to Murudeswar was also good,as it was along the coast.I wonder why we travel to foriegn lands when we can find so much of nature-at its best, in our country !!.

Yet another year and am still here...
Hope its gonna be great year for me.!
Had been to chennai for New Year !!Had a good time meeting up friends and nyoing with my family.work was also not bad....
we had ethnic day in office...Jus check out the clothes my colleagues wore...Typically Ethnic!!
Really had a blast that day!!No work in office too....In ethnic clothes..walking around here n there!!!It was njoiable...
Yeaterday was my sis'es wedding anniversary...
Had been to there home!Had a good time...

what does a human need in life .?Is it money, human values,our own life ?People in this world are racing to achieve some unseen target in their life ?But when they do so they donnt realize that they are actually crushing the feet of others.This is such a crazy world.All of them want money ,money and more money.They leave their loved ones jus to make more of money.They are not satisfied with the already too much money they have.!!!What do they want in life ??Do they want lakhs in their bank balance ??What is that they want ?Finally when the age comes for them to resign ,they realize they have missed all wonderful things in life.In the race to make money ,they have forgotten the purpose of life,relationships,love and human values.Time once gone is gone forever.!I want a life to be simple and purposeful!There is thin line that diffrentiates money just required to live a comfortable life and money ,more than required ,to a live a life.As a human,we should learn to live a life,understand it's purpose and learn to love all the wonderful things in life.Mind you,they all have to be done at a same time.I can't love the way my children grow up when they are grown old.!!!Wonderful things in life comes in a fully loaded package.Its a wonderful life God has given us.It has meaning and purpose when God breathed and gave life to us.Its up to every human to know and comprehend the meaning of life,and relationship's.This craze to have more money came up with the entry of IT sector.True,it gives employemt for lacs of people,but one should not be blinded by the magical wand of money [in dollars] that is offered by different organisations!Always have the money to run a comfortable life,never overdo things.
